Your Rajasthan journey begins with pickup from Jaipur Airport, Jaipur Railway Station, bus stand, hotel or another confirmed location within the city.

Meet your driver and proceed towards your hotel. Early check-in will depend on your arrival time, room availability and the hotel’s policy. After freshening up, begin the first part of your Jaipur sightseeing tour.

Day 1 generally focuses on Jaipur’s historic walled city. Begin with a photography stop at Hawa Mahal, one of the city’s most recognised landmarks.

Start with Amber Fort and Palace, located approximately 11 kilometres from Jaipur’s main city area. Explore its courtyards, gateways, royal halls and decorative interiors. Important sections include Jaleb Chowk, Diwan-e-Aam, Ganesh Pol, Sheesh Mahal and Sukh Niwas.

Continue to Panna Meena Ka Kund, subject to local visitor and photography regulations. Afterwards, visit Jaigarh Fort, known for its defensive architecture and panoramic views.

Jaipur to Udaipur via Ajmer and Pushkar – Overnight Stay in Udaipur

After an early breakfast, check out from the Jaipur hotel and depart for Ajmer. This is one of the longest travel days in the itinerary, so an early departure is essential.

On reaching Ajmer, proceed towards Ajmer Sharif Dargah, the revered shrine of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. The shrine welcomes visitors from different religious and cultural backgrounds.

Tour vehicles may not be allowed inside the restricted lanes near the Dargah. Travellers may need to walk or use a locally available e-rickshaw or auto-rickshaw from the designated parking area.

Wear respectful clothing, remove footwear when required and follow the instructions displayed at the shrine. If time permits, stop near Ana Sagar Lake or see Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra.

After breakfast, check out from your Jodhpur hotel and begin the journey towards the desert region of Jaisalmer.

The distance from Jodhpur to the Sam Sand Dunes region is approximately 325–340 kilometres, depending on the camp location and selected route. The journey may require six to seven hours.

A lunch or refreshment stop can be taken along the route. An optional stop at Osian or Pokhran may only be included when confirmed in advance, as additional sightseeing could delay arrival at the camp.

On reaching the desert area, check in at the selected camp and receive a traditional welcome according to the camp arrangements.

Proceed towards the dunes for a camel safari or camel-cart experience when included in the package. Spend time watching the colours of the desert change during sunset.

Travellers interested in adventure may book an optional jeep safari, dune-bashing or quad-biking experience. These activities are generally charged separately unless mentioned in the quotation.
