Itinerary

Day 1
Jaipur Pickup and Jaipur Sightseeing – Overnight Stay in Jaipur
+

Your Rajasthan tour begins with pickup from Jaipur Airport, Jaipur Railway Station, bus stand, hotel or another confirmed location within the city.

Meet your driver and proceed towards your hotel. Early hotel check-in will depend on room availability and the property’s standard check-in policy. After freshening up, begin the first part of your Jaipur sightseeing tour.

The sightseeing schedule will be planned according to your arrival time. Day 1 generally focuses on Jaipur’s historic walled city and nearby attractions.

Begin with a photography stop at Hawa Mahal, one of Jaipur’s most recognised landmarks. Its five-storey pink façade and numerous delicately designed windows make it an excellent place for photographs.

Continue to City Palace, a royal complex featuring courtyards, museums, gateways and a beautiful blend of Rajput and Mughal architectural influences.

Located close to City Palace is Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site containing large historic instruments used to study time and astronomical movement.

After exploring Jantar Mantar, spend time in Jaipur’s traditional markets. Depending on the available time, you may visit Johari Bazaar, Bapu Bazaar or Tripolia Bazaar. These markets are known for jewellery, handicrafts, textiles, lac bangles, traditional footwear and souvenirs.

In the evening, visit Birla Mandir or see the illuminated exterior of Albert Hall Museum. Return to the hotel after completing the sightseeing tour.

After Amber Fort, visit Panna Meena Ka Kund, subject to local access and photography regulations. Continue towards Jaigarh Fort, known for its defensive structures, watchtowers and panoramic views.

On the return journey, stop near Jal Mahal for photographs. The palace stands in the middle of Man Sagar Lake and is generally viewed from the lakeside promenade.

Depending on the time available, continue towards Nahargarh Fort for elevated views of Jaipur. Travellers who prefer a relaxed schedule may choose either Jaigarh Fort or Nahargarh Fort instead of covering both forts.

Day 3
Jaipur to Ajmer and Pushkar Sightseeing – Overnight Stay in Jodhpur

After an early breakfast, check out from your Jaipur hotel and begin the journey towards Ajmer. Ajmer is located approximately 130 kilometres from Jaipur.

On reaching Ajmer, proceed towards Ajmer Sharif Dargah, the revered shrine of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. The shrine is visited by devotees from different religious and cultural backgrounds.

Tour vehicles may not be allowed inside the narrow or restricted lanes near the Dargah. Travellers may need to walk or use a locally available e-rickshaw or auto-rickshaw from the designated parking area.

Wear respectful clothing and follow all instructions displayed at the shrine. Footwear must be removed before entering the main religious area.

If time permits, visit Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra or stop near Ana Sagar Lake before continuing towards Pushkar.

Pushkar is situated approximately 14–15 kilometres from Ajmer. Visit the famous Brahma Temple and walk towards the sacred Pushkar Lake. The lake is surrounded by temples and numerous religious ghats.

Spend some time walking through Pushkar’s colourful market, known for clothing, handicrafts, jewellery, leather products and souvenirs. Lunch or refreshments may be arranged at a local restaurant.

Start with Mehrangarh Fort, one of Rajasthan’s most magnificent and well-preserved forts. Situated above the city, it offers impressive views of Jodhpur and its blue-painted houses.

Within Mehrangarh Fort, visitors can explore grand courtyards, royal rooms and museum galleries. Important sections include Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal and Sheesh Mahal.

Continue to Jaswant Thada, a peaceful white marble memorial situated close to Mehrangarh Fort. Its carved marble structure, gardens and surrounding views make it one of Jodhpur’s most attractive monuments.

If the schedule permits, visit the museum section of Umaid Bhawan Palace or stop near its exterior for photographs. Alternatively, explore Clock Tower, Sardar Market or Toorji Ka Jhalra.

Because the drive from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer takes approximately five to six hours, travellers should depart from Jodhpur by early afternoon.

Begin the road journey to Jaisalmer, passing through the dry landscapes and small towns of western Rajasthan. Take a refreshment break along the route when required.

Start with Jaisalmer Fort, also known as Sonar Qila or the Golden Fort. The fort is a living heritage area containing homes, shops, cafés, temples and guesthouses within its walls.

Explore the narrow lanes and visit the historic Jain Temples when open. Built from yellow sandstone, the temples are admired for their carvings and architectural details.
